If you are offended but what you think I wrote in the summary line, wait until you get a load of this ... movie. It really takes no prisoners and is quite personal. It is so close to the artist that I actually thought it was all made up. If Wikipedia isn't lying (don't laugh) than she does exist.
If you get famous at an early age things happen. And there is evidence of a not normal life here. This is in your face and honest. While it also serves some cliches I reckon, you can't deny the struggle between artist and personal life. It is tough to actually juggle both those. Especially if you never had a childhood ... or have been in a relationship way too early ... or have been held high/on a pedestal. How do you keep yourself in check and in reality? This is not a movie about solutions or answers, it is here to show us something that can happen ... what you take from it, is purely based in your own judgement
