A man wakes up with no memory of his past but the ability to speak dozens of languages fluently. After finding a clue about his former self, he will race against time to discover his true identity.

When John Hutton mysteriously awakens with no recollection of his past, yet with the ability to speak dozens of languages fluently, he decides to start a new life. Years later, he is sent tumbling down the proverbial rabbit hole after meeting another man that shares a similar condition and learning that there are several more individuals like him, all amnesiacs with extraordinary abilities. A middle aged man searches for his identity after waking up with no memory on a park bench. He finds peace with his present, marries, has a beautiful family and finds happiness , until a mystery man comes to the university where he teaches in rough shape and knows "things" about his special gift that he has never shared. Man wakes up confused and desolate on park bench. His memory gone. Everything, wiped. A shell. He moves on with life. meets people. gets married has a child, becomes a college professor. How is this possible. Inside the shell, was residual. What was left of him, was language. Memory. Exclusive to languages. Hundreds of them. As it moves along, stranger, who looks confused but worse than our character arrives. Leaves clues to the past. Enticed, Doe moves forward. Without going into details, the film becomes a whodunit type movie. With of course the obvious questions and answers of who, how, why, when all being answered toward the end of the movie. May sound simple in this synopsis, but i assure you, it is fun getting there. The path is diversely simple, almost too much so, characters sparsely developed, thou Doe is fleshed out somewhat. Overall the acting of non essential was so so. If you grasp it, wipe your mind of notions, or past movies, you will enjoy the ride. I was riveted. Upon reflection i came to these conclusions. But when movie ended, I could only say, Wow. like i had just remembered my whole life. Kidding. It was a great ending. I enjoyed it, for the most part. Give this director an A for his accomplishments, the writer as well. Writer needs to write more. i liked it. The actor in this was completely believable. No awards, just he was cast perfectly. I enjoyed this film enough to recommend for others, hence why i am here. Watch this movie. Dont be distracted, or you wont care. LoL, such is life. Two thumbs up.
