When Madeline is getting ready to help Johnny decorate his tree, she picks up several strings of all-yellow lights. When the decorated tree is shown, however, all the lights are green and red with not a single yellow light.

The tree that Maddy carries home is much shorter and smaller than the tree she decorates in her house.

When Johnny throws a snowball at Maddy, it hits her at her shoulder covered by her hair. The snow sticks to all of it making a mess. The very next moment that shows Maddy a second later, she has no snow in her hair.

At 27:18, just after the snow ball fight, Maddie and Johnny are walking in the town, there is a Canadian Pacific locomotive passing in the background.
