It has been at least six months since a design company that fell off the radar of a large conglomerate survived downsizing operations unbeknownst to its two remaining employees, Danielle and Roland, who have managed to make the most of their time working for a boss they have not even met. Charlie, an unwelcome "intruder" from another company in the same building, occasionally pops by to make use of the Wifi signal, borrows mugs that are never returned, and (presumably) smuggles other office supplies. Daniëlle receives instructions to do a complete inventory in time for the Big Boss's sudden visit the next day. They step out to the roof deck but get locked out, making Charlie's presence finally welcome.
