in the second story, when the girl goes out to kill the goat she is wearing stockings, and after killing it she is wearing blue sneakers.

In the eighth story, "The Cobbler's Lot", a seam is visible on the leg of one of the nymphs when they are cavorting underwater with Tivadar, showing they are wearing nude bodysuits rather than actually being nude.

The dog in the seventh story, "A Nocturnal Breath," which happens in 1780, is a German Shepherd, a nonexistent breed at that time.
