It doesn't quite live up to its potential
seawitchrf12 November 2018
This show has an interesting concept, a few decent actors and the plots, as well as the occasional fight scenes, can be enticing. But. There are glaring inconsistencies, idiotic comments and they seem to be the worst darn FBI agents ever. Except for the one who isn't. It's worth a watch but it could be so much better.

Don't move to California

Warning: Spoilers
Well, this was a pretty good ending for the season, until the last minutes in my opinion.

This wasn't my favorite season, and I think most episodes are filling and transition to the "great finale". I wasn't very convinced about everything on Sandstorm, and this episode wasn't very helpful. Everything on the satellite and stuff was quite unbelievable.

In the other hand, I was very disappointed with Roman. I though that after all, he's going to betray Sheperd and be with Jane's side so I wasn't very happy with him in the end. Other thing that I don't like of this show is the way everything is solve quite easily, even if the problems are difficult and elaborate, and in this episode was the same, but I'm glad that Patterson saves the day again.

After all, was a good episode. Until the last 2 minutes. I think it will be a good series finale if it wasn't for the fact that Blindspot will be returning on a 3rd season, so the last 2 minutes doesn't make any sense, at all.

+ Good ending for Sheperd.

+ Jeller.

+ Patterson.

+ Zapata working with the CIA guy.

  • Kurt's confession scene was very bad acted.

  • Roman being the next villain.

  • The end.

  • Two years time jump.

  • The problems are fixed quite easily.

Roman and Sandstorm
Just-A-Girl-1427 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't like this season final. It was all over the place and way over the top. The writers took this storyline way too far. All throughout the season the Sandstorm plot got more and more convoluted to the point of being ridiculous at times. The way they ended it felt rush and honesty made no sense at all. One would hope the FBI, CIA and NSA are smarter than that. There were so many things that didn't add up and there was too much going on for such a small team to handle. They made Patterson (for example) this know it all super nerd. It was so unrealistic and it didn't even fit her character from the previous season.

Another BIG problem for me was Roman. The actor was really great, he did an amazing job. I was really invested in his character and his strong relationship/bond with his sister. We watched him struggle to understand who he was and trying to become a better person. Even before his memory was erased he chose Jane over Shepherd. I REALLY HATE it that in a split second they made him bad again. They keep doing that, first with Jane and now with Roman. We all know Kurt and Jane are going to end up together but the story of the two siblings surviving all kinds of horrors together was really touching. I was really looking forward to watching them fight together but instead they just rushed the Sandstorm story and made Roman the bad guy again and I assume the next villain. I don't like it!

I also don't like the two year jump. So Kurt and Jane got married but Jane left him for some reason and sometime after that the entire team was abducted and Kurt managed to find Jane somewhere somehow so that they can go back to working on the tattoos and saving the team? Hello? What the hell is going on? Why do they keep doing that? Maybe it's just me but a simple realistic storyline is always better! I will continue to watch for now but I have to say that I liked the show much more at the beginning. The concept was great and it had lots of potential. They just took it to far.

Barely making any sense

Warning: Spoilers
I am a devoted follower of this show. I have rooted for it since its beginnings and always hoped that it would get renewed. I was so happy when I heard there was going to be a season 3. However, this episode was clearly written in a rush.

Everything has been pushed to fit, no matter how incongruous or ridiculous it seemed. The Sandstorm plot has been "written off" in a way that makes no sense, and satisfies nobody. The fact that the writers have left an open door to a continuation by allowing Roman to get away is ridiculously mind blowing. In a stupid scene, where anyone who has been following Blindspot knows that Jane would've handcuffed him, of course she would've never shot him though! And to add insult to injury, that love declaration!, it felt so forced and out of place. The fact that Jane and Kurt are allowed their love affair seems to end the whole show, but wait a sec, NO, in an even more pathetic turn of events we are flash-forwarded two years into the future. We are shown a moment in which Jane has apparently left her husband (Kurt) but they clearly still love each other, no matter how deeply hurt either might be, and he goes after her because almost the entire team has been kidnapped by someone unknown, who's left a box that can only be opened by both of them. Not only that, but inside of which They find an artifact that once again when operated by the two of them at the same time allows them to get her tattoos to glow, as if that trick had not been worked on before!

Although it pains me to say this, it might be time for me to say goodbye to Blindspot, even if only after two seasons. Why oh why?

No spoiler, just my opinion of the final episode.

I really want to like this show. Sure, some of the episodes solutions seem cheesy/far-fetched. The final episode, I can kinda of buy until the last 5 minutes or so. It just ended kinda like a clown explaining what would happen in the finale. Hopefully the season 3 returns and episode 22 of season 2 is a daydream/nightmare.

Oh dear, what was that

Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 - brilliant a new series with lots going for it. Then we get season 2 which just seemed to limp along, dragged in places and then we got that final episode which was announced as "the season finale" what on earth were the script writers smoking? No way can this be considered a decent ending.

SPOILERS AHEAD.....LOADS OF THEM............. It started pretty good and I followed thinking this is getting better, then Jane let her brother get away when he was more than happy to kill her - is he the new baddie; then the wounded and collapsed Weller and his IheartU was so staged and not sincere. This was followed by the team all leaving the celebrations so that Jane and Weller could finally and I mean finally jump each other and jump they most certainly did judging by the clothes flying and those tasteful soft shots.

Flash forward "two years" and we see Jane climbing a rock face, at the top her Sensei tells her she must return home, she does that annoying lip chewing thing and says she cannot. Then we get her drinking in her room and the announcement of she has a visitor who turns out to be Weller who flashes his wedding ring and she fiddles with hers.

Why??????? I've just read that NBC picked up for a 3rd Season and I am honestly unsure if I will take the time to watch it.

What the ...

Despite FBI agents which are quite easy on gunning people down (are FBI agents trained at something else than kill shots!?) and a know-it-all nerd who has the solution to everything, we quite liked Blindspot.

But this last episode was so bad, that I felt an urge to check on IMDb the ratings, and provide for the first time ever a rating on an episode !

This second season was really getting worst and worst ... After this episode, we decided it was our last ... no third season for us

Shoot him, shoot him, why did Jane let Roman walk away? The first season was exciting and full of suspense. This season Shepherd has turned into Houdini. It's gone from really good to a complete farce.
