The entire film was shot within 3 days between Malibu, Venice and Culver City, California.
The little girl in the film was played by Shirley Temple's great granddaughter. At the time, the producers were unaware of this and were informed only after completion.
The concept for the film was materialized when the writer/director heard the buzzing of a pager at a local restaurant chain and believed it to be air raid sirens.
