Decent Love Story like "Annayum Rasoolum"
rahulksuresh25 August 2018
This movie had failed in box office but it's really a nice one.Although the actors are really did their work, may be technical factors and not giving much promotions are the factors that may lead this movie to a disaster. Comming on to movie it got 1h 49 min decent runtime, some scenes may find bit lagging for some viewers or not ( depends on you)... Main theme is love and it really worked between main actor. Reality are maintained at it best. Towards the end the movie really lack some sparks ,but satisfys viewers at the climax. Music are really good hat's off to music director (he really done his job). Overall a watchable love story if you loved the movie "Annayum Rasoolum" then you'll really like this movie..

Warning: Spoilers
In my view Theeram is far better that the so called super hero movies big stars. It is a relief, A very simple movie with breeze of beauty. Loveable melodies and nice pictorization.

My rating is 7.000

Capsule Review: Theeram
nairtejas5 November 2017
Theeram is the perfect example that shows how experienced actors and direction are important for a film's success. The story of a taciturn man wooing a taciturn woman and trying to earn her love in a city of crime is a tale that demands more viewership. Debutantes Pranav Ratheesh and Maria Yohannan fail to drive their story ahead and put all the pressure in the supporting cast, which surprisingly works because director Saheed Arafath has some great points to make about the society we live in. Ignore the terrible acting, and immerse yourself in this floating narration backed by a lovely soundtrack. The core of Theeram is romance, but there's more to the story than coyness and unspoken words. It's about an unfair world where things are not always hunky-dory, and our protagonists here learn it the hard way. It is a well-written film but is dampened by a dismal lead performance and a nasty final 10 minutes. Theeram could have been a tighter film had Arafath used more talented actors, but it still is a palpable dish to try out if you like appreciating newbies. TN.
