Title: Just kids

First you have to realize that this series is not like all of those documentaries we've seen or shows depicting the events or anything pertaining to the deaths of BIG or Tupac. This is from the LAPD perspective, especially in this episode William Poole played in the 90s original investigation and then in 2006 by Josh Dumal opening up the investigation. Durex you'll hear things you've heard but you will see stuff you havent perhaps, like original footage of the shooting the night after the vibe party of Biggie.

This series has a great cast full of stars which always tells you, Ok maybe your in good hands. It's more like the People vs. O.J. Simpson the american crime story in episode one than some kind of opportunity to beat the horse of the conspiracies of Tupac and Biggie. Its dealing in the LAPDs facts and information and how things are mishandled. Also, this was during a time similar to O.J. where race issue was huge in Loas Angelos. We see this in the beginning of the episode as someone is treated until its known hes a cop.

It boggles my mind that both cases were not solved in a related and intertwined set of events. Imo I went in with the opinion of politics and corruption. Maybe knight or combs did have to do with it, but I feel the LAPD is dirty in someway.

So, with that in mind, I am hoping this series can challenge my beliefs and feelings with the information it shows and depicts behind the LAPD. Whether they're cemented as the biggest gang out of the three. Crypts, bloods, and the LAPD. or maybe I have misconceptions.

The first episode satisfied me and made me really want to continue watching to see what happens next in a series where I know. It's all about behind the scenes in how it was dealt. Not that much is shown in 2006, so it leaves me intrigued for dramatic purposes. The fact of the matter is that these two music icons were just kids. At 24 years old and 25! I think it's hard to remember that because their music has always grown old with us as we've aged but they stopped so early in their lives accomplishing so much. Now let's find out who and how the investigation was fumbled so poorly.
