Superb Writing and Acting

Season 4 is a real return to form. Beautifully written, some really moving moments. Still as good as ever. Anyone giving this 1/10 should find something else to watch because this show ain't for you.

Worth the wait

As others have commented, Seasons 1 and 2 are by far the best. But it's worth hanging in there for Season 4, Episode 8. Wow, it was intense. Parts were hilarious and others were heartbreaking. One of the best episodes of the entire series. Highly recommended.

Best episode ever!

This is the best bro road trip ever! Noah and Cole were superb - two adversaries on a common mission, with a young sidekick along for the ride. I absolutely loved it!

Genius. Hitchcock Would Be Proud

The whole episode is phenomenal, but the ending scene with Noah is the greatest moment I've ever seen on television. It reminded me of Hitchcock's Vertigo. It's filmed so well. Dominic West's acting and expressions are absolutely perfect.

Outstanding

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is the most funny, poignant and devastating buddy road trip. Three characters, who couldn't be more disparate if they tried, find themselves on a road trip as they search for clues about Alison's disappearance. Cole and Noah find a little coexistence on the trip, managing to put aside some of their mutual animosity long enough to masquerade as a gay couple with a son for a hilarious motel stay with Noah's student Anton. The ending is crushing. Dominic West's last 5 minutes are heartbreaking and I knew after this episode came out that Joshua Jackson would never again be known as solely Pacey from Dawson's Creek. Absolute excellence from both these actors.

Incredibly moving episode
FilmBuff040914 May 2019
No matter whose side you are on in this series, this episode will bring you to tears. The filmography in this episode is exceptional, every little detail is taken into account, with Alison as always the acting is impeccable. Every facial expression, every word spoken, everything she does she gives to her performance. The fifth and final season will be very different after this episode.

Do not believe the 10 stars, is pure propaganda
davinci-748096 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this Series from the beginning and I loved Season 1 and 2, its broken disjointed from Season 3. Come on, Noah is solving his schizophrenic episodes on his own in 2 days and Alison first abandons her daughter for 6 months and now she commits suicide over a man she met and knew for 6 weeks (I understand now). Watch how Vik will beat the pancreatic cancer, because whom wrote this is clearly a misogynistic one. A woman portrayed in Season 1 and 2 carrying so much pain over the loss of her son cannot EVER do what Alison did in Season 3 and 4. Definitely the writer knows very little about women in general, its pure nonsense propaganda.

even tho i'm so super tired of allison's depression...

Warning: Spoilers
I though it is unveliebable that she commited sucide. She even had her daughter. Maybe the actress wanted to do another gig and Allison, therefore, needed to die... I have no other explanation for it.
