- Returning the Lifeboat to the present, Lucy gets her ex-fiance Noah to treat a badly wounded Rufus, refusing to explain and breaking definitely 'as you deserve better'. The team risk taking Jiya as co-pilot (exceeding the three people rule) to jump to Washington, D.C., in 1954, where Flynn blackmails Joseph McCarthy into giving him the address of the Rittenhouse summit. Arrested with Lucy on suspicion of being Soviet spies, Wyatt escapes, overpowering the senator's FBI goons. They follow Ethan Cahill, Lucy's grandfather, finding out his a closet gay -then still risking arrest and ruin- and get him to bring them to the summit, where they convince Flynn to join forces in another way to stop Rittenhouse without mass bloodshed. Jiya suffers a seizure, Wyatt and Rufus return her back to the present, where she gets premonitions, while Lucy stays with Flynn and Ethan. Mason reveals Cahill's activities to Agent Christopher, regretting most endangering Rufus. Back in the present, Lucy and Wyatt visits elderly Ethan, who hands them access to decades' worth of records on Rittenhouse activities, thanks to which Mason and the team can systematically arrest dozens of members of the organization. Lucy tells Flynn who ordered the assassination of his family, but he is immediately arrested by Agent Christopher, who only fulfills her promise to help Lucy restore her sister Amy to the time-line. Lucy feels guilty because in the original time-line, Carol is dying from cancer, admits everything to her mother about time travel and Amy, but her mother reveals, to Lucy's horror, also to be a Rittenhouse member, while fellow Rittenhouse member Emma, steals the Mothership.—KGF Vissers
