Members of Firehouse 51 are split up and reassigned to various houses in Chicago by Chief Anderson.

After exercising his disdain and authority over Chief Boden, Chief Anderson reassigns members of 51 to various houses around town, citing the need for improvement. The ramifications are felt by the crew, who are left to make the best of their respective situations in their new surroundings. Boden fights to repair the situation, but it just might be out of his control. Elsewhere, Severide toils over an important decision.—NBC

The squad tries to deal with Anderson reassigning them. Cruz and Capp are now working at the call center. Herrmann and Mouch are assigned to a station where are not eager to go out on a call. Otis goes back to his old firehouse and he tells them about his experiences at 51 but someone says that something is said is not true. Sylvie and Stella are at Stella's old firehouse and Sylvie discovers the Captain takes delight it taking his charges down a peg.
