When Artemis is dragging Hunter you see a shot of her footsteps in the sand but no marks from the raft she is pulling.
Artemis, after crawling out of the spider hole, is shown in various positions with regards to the surrounding rocks and also the sunlight and shade.
At the start of the film when the second vehicle is following the lead vehicle across the desert the lead vehicle is creating a rather large dust cloud. However, in a close up of the second vehicle there is no dust to be seen.
Cpt. Artemis' arm weapon on her left arm kept switching back and forth to the right arm in the final battle with the dragon.
During the Rangers' initial contact with the solitary sand monster, one soldier is repeatedly firing a belt-fed automatic weapon at the creature, however while you see multiple muzzle flashes, the ammunition belt is stationary and not feeding through the weapon.
When CPT Artemis, played by Milla Jovovich, is riding along in her HMMWV, she gets into the turret, which a Commander never does. A gunner sits in the turret and a Truck Commander (TC) or an Officer in this instance, would stay in the front passenger seat. The gunner is the most exposed and the loss of a Commander is highly detrimental to the mission. Her taking the turret position pulls her away from her ability to maneuver her forces, use the radio (they were wearing ear pieces not Peltors which connect to an ASIP radio), or look at a BLUFOR tracker. A Commander using the weapon on top in the turret is always a last resort.
The weapon the CPT calls an RPG is actually a LAW. It also does not have an aiming reticle that turns green.
Several times the HMMWV driver moves a shift stick while driving. The military HMMWV has an automatic transmission and requires no such shifting.
When Alpha Team first encounters 'The Hunter' a distance of 300 meters is called out. Dash, played by Meagan Good, fires her Beretta M9 pistol at Tony Jaa's character. The max effective range of the M9 is 90 yards or 82 meters. A 'Ranger' would never have fired a side arm at that distance.
Marshall ties his dog tag chain to his boot; typically the individual tag is laced into the boot while the chain and tags are worn around the neck.
Artemis and Hunter cut a barrel fun of sand open and use the sound this creates as a means to lure the monster towards them before sending it in the other direction by using this barrel to catapult another barrel. This slight vibration from the falling sand is seemingly enough to get the monster's attention, yet at other stages in the film Artemis and Hunter are able to walk across the sand and have full scale fights without attracting the monster's attention.
When Artemis offers Hunter the Hershey bar, she explains to him that this is chocolate, pronouncing it correctly (at least for an American) "chuck-late". Hunter however repeats several times "Chock-o-late", despite not knowing that there is an "o" in the word.
