The doctor is in . . . crosshairs?

Here's one that isn't really about either Riggs or Murtaugh; although, they're integral players. It's really about Dr. Cahill (Jordana Brewster), who's the target in a stalker case. It helps that the story has twists, turns and the requisite Lethal Weapon action set pieces, but it's also a great effort in adding dimension to a background character. It even sneaks in a poignant moment or two.

If this proves anything, it's that Cahill's not so peripheral after all.

Who green-lit this episode?!

I have truly enjoyed the balance of grit, humour and pace of this series, but this episode reeks of rotting - I don't know what. Crappy coincidences, unbelievable relationships - especially the Murtaugh parents and their daughter - and totally unacceptable investigation methods. Sure the series has pushed the envelope of truth, but this episode is sorely lacking and terribly hard to watch. However, I will acknowledge, for some unknown reason, the final fifteen minutes seemed to have been written by a different, superior writer. Bring on episode 15...
