Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Dwayne Johnson, Sarah Shahi, and Noah Centineo in Black Adam (2022)

Goofs

Black Adam

Edit

Continuity

The scanner at Hawkman's identifies Maxine as Red Tornado rather than Cyclone.
When the camera follows Karim exiting the car outside of the cave where the crown is found, the driver's door is open. However, in the next shot, the door is closed. A few shots later, the driver's door is open again like it was originally.
Toward the end of the film, in the two-shot, after Black Adam destroys the throne and is asked by Amon if he is going to be their hero; he is standing shoulder to shoulder right next to his mother. However, in the next cut which is a medium shot, he is now standing much further away from his mother.
When Amon is talking to Black Adam about his plans at the end of the film; his cape is fully draped over both shoulders and hanging by the sides of the arms in the reverse shot and the following two-shot. However, in the front medium shot after that; the cape changes orientation and is only fully draped over his left shoulder.

Factual errors

At 1:06:02 he throws a guy very far away. There should be a time delay as sound travels slower than light. Also, as far as the person that was thrown, you would barely hear him hitting the ground if at all.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

After being imprisoned for 5000 years, Teth-Adam seems able to understand and speak perfect modern English, (a language that didn't even start development until about 1500 years ago), when he awakens in the Tomaz' apartment. However, Teth-Adam was blessed with the wisdom of Zehuti, allowing him to speak and understand any language. Zehuti,.AKA Thoth, is credited with inventing reading, writing and oral speech.

Revealing mistakes

At one point, they state the crown weighs 23 pounds. However, in several places in the movie, people are carrying/lifting it like it weighs a few ounces.
During Adam's flashback to his son's execution, the horns wobble on the costumes of the guards restraining him.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When Teth Adam sees a vision of his wife and son, his son speaks several sentences where the sound of his voice does not match the movement of his lips.
At the start of the film when Adrianna's son is skateboarding alongside the car he can be heard saying "I do yeah" but his mouth is clearly not moving when he says this line.
When Black Adam takes the crown off the uncle there is a sound of metal on metal.

Plot holes

Character error

Ancient writing in Farsi and Arabic was written right to left. In the movie the female lead read left to right when she was first reading in the cave and following as she read with her hand.
