As a long time Negativland fan I love this. Any Negativland will. Never heard of them? Keep your mind open and enjoy these groundbreaking radio broadcasting, audio collage making, pop culture destroying guys that will open your mind to a different way of thinking ....it you let them.
This film is about KPFA DJ Don Joyce and his radio show "Over the Edge" that started over 30 years ago. How it transformed from a regular radio into a Negativland influenced sound collage. Don eventually joined Negativland himself. There us nothing else even close to this in ANY form of media.
The radio shows and Dons life are explained in detail. In the 80's some of these shows were released by Negativland and by the mid/late 90's I was able to listen live in the DC area via the Internet and called into the show myself.
So clearly this is not for everyone but relax and enjoy it's only 70 minutes. You'll learn about this counter culture experience from a group of really nice unpretentious people.
