- The EU interprets the missile downing of a Finnish fighter aircraft as an attack on the EU and votes on a resolution for Russia to exit Norway. They also want Anita to stand down.

Anita Rygh is wakened by a phone call, stunned by the news. A TV report announces the Russians have shot down a Finnish F-18, the PM Korhonen is demanding an EU response. Jesper Berg sips his coffee.
Ingrid Bø arrests Defence Chief Istad, the man seen with Klevin in the greenhouse. Bø then interrogates him asking about Eileen Rustad and showing the evidence. After some half hearted denials he admits there is a plot against Irina Sidorova on the 23rd. After the General is taken away Bø tells Djupvik she has already arrested Klevin and others. He wonders why Istad confessed so easily.
Leon visits Frida and Faisal, they watch the news saying the Russians are claiming a hacker was responsible. Leon is shocked and goes to a PC. He is worried the Russians will find him. Reaching the girl who recruited him he asks for help, she shows Berg, who says to break off contact and leave no trace back to them.
Korhonen calls Berg, the EU will now vote against Russia. Berg says the EU must respond with force against Russia.
Rudi Teichmann, the EU PM tells Rygh the Russians will retreat, and asks Rygh to step aside for Berg. She refuses and ends the call. Rygh then meets Roger Bull the Norwegian Parliamentary Leader, he also tells her the Storting will accept Berg and the EU. Rygh realizes she is a scapegoat.
Bente and Nikolai text each other, she goes to work. Nadia says many Russians have canceled reservations, Bente says they can continue another couple of months.
Faisal sits with Leon, thanking the hacker for his help. Faisal says they still need to do something but Leon is a pacifist. Suddenly black suited assailants try to break in the house, the three run for it into the alley. Frida and Leon huddle behind garbage bins, Faisal splits the opposite way. Leon tells Frida he was tricked by Jesper Berg and gives her his phone. The assailants close in and kill Leon, Frida calls Faisal in tears.
Nikolai waits for Bente in the dark, she arrives home with Maya. Nikolai asks why she changed the party date. Bente struggles for words, explaining she did it to protect him. Nikolai leaves, disappointed he trusted her.
Anita Rygh sees her mother in an LTC Home, then is summoned to Russian HQ. Sidorova meets her in private. Rygh complains the jet incident ruined their plans, Sidorova denies it was Russia but Rygh doesn't trust her anymore. Sidorova tells her to think about survival. Returning to her car, Rygh tells Pedersen to get Teichmann. Rygh says she will ally with Russia, they will withdraw but keep control of the oil, Rygh will stay on as PM. The Storting will be forced to accept.
Bente meets Nadia, a little happier as things are looking up again. Bente offers to sell her share of the hotel, she wants to go to Moscow.
Djupvik is updated by an agent using Irstad's account in the game. They still don't know the names of all the players but realize General Irstad was not the Leader.
Returning to her office, Rygh is met by Frida, who wants a one-on-one. Rygh excuses Pedersen and the two security guards. Frida is in tears, she knows who shot the plane down and blames Jesper Berg. She plays an audio recording on Leon's phone with Berg on the ship.
Djupvik and his agent go through the game evidence and realize the Hotel plot was a diversion. He grabs a phone quickly.
Rygh tells Pedersen to get Berg, Pedersen reports the Navy has revolted. Security comes to get her. Djupvik calls to say there is a coup d'état happening now. Rygh and Pedersen are driven to safety to an underground bunker, joined by Djupvik and Buan. Djupvik, getting info from the game, realizes someone close by is revealing Rygh's location, they arrest Lukas Pedersen and take his phone. Rygh is then driven away by Djupvik and Buan evading a roadblock. Troops are mobilizing across Oslo. The Russians offer to help, Rygh refuses, she wants to see Berg to resolve the situation. Djupvik makes a call.
Bente and Maya load their suitcases into a taxi as sirens wail. Maya calls Nadia to say goodbye, as they speak Norwegian troops enter the Hotel. Bente is subdued.
Rygh and Djupvik get on a fast boat and head out to sea. They board he Polish ship, greeted by Berg in his Norway-flag jacket. Djupvik is handcuffed to a railing.
Vold enters the government offices , Berg calls to say Rygh is with him. Berg says Vold acted a day too early, then says to tell Parliament the Army is only there until Berg arrives himself. Vold agrees and goes to Rygh's office.
Rygh and Berg sit to talk, she says she is there to protect him. They chat about what will happen next, he offers coffee. She then reveals the recording and offers a deal. She will stay on as PM, Berg can have control of the military. A short time later they give Djupvik a joint communique. Djupvik reads it out for the media, defusing the coup.
The Army backs down and withdraws from the Russians. Vold is upset that Berg has made an alliance with Rygh, but he relents and is escorted out of the PM's office.
Faisal meets with some military buddies on the waterfront as a crowd gathers.
Rygh and Berg disembark together as a crowd cheers and waves flags. Sidorova watches on TV in dismay. The two PMs go to a podium.
Faisal gets a package from a person in the back of an army jeep.
Berg makes a short unity speech and publicly supports Rygh. Rygh takes the stand and announces the Russians will withdraw, Norway is Free! More cheering as Rygh explains it was all done without war and significant loss of lives. She wants all Norwegians to put aside their differences.
Suddenly, Rygh is shot in the chest by Faisal. Vold leaves the jeep in the commotion. Berg is in despair as Rygh dies on the scene. Frida watches it all on TV, sadly.
In the evening Jesper Berg is alone in the PM's Office, deep in thought.
