  • "Last Laugh" is a comedy with a touch of pathos. Martin's life is in turmoil. He feels he's failed at both work and family life. He lays his life bare in a cathartic rant as he takes a turn as a stand-up comedian at a local open-mic night. The film explores family, love, and the difficulties of trying to juggle your own needs and ambitions with relationships and expectations (your own and other people's) It's a Northern British film, written by John Godber OBE, and directed by award-winning director Daniel Coll.
