Plot Summary

Wang Hui, a talented Chinese computer programmer, enters an AI competition. He creates and programs and humanoid who looks "perfect" in every way. Upon activation, however, he discovers that he has messed up her language faculties, and so he has to teach her how to speak the "old-fashioned" way. On this learning journey, Xiao Qi develops her own rather human personalities and preferences, much to Wang Hui's chagrin. Written by Holger E. Metzger
