This episode focuses on BMO and the end of the last episode showed BMO away from the Earth, but it turns out this was just a trick on us viewers. BMO is actually in a virtual reality. Then again, this episode came right after the third part so we didn't have a lot of time to anticipate it. The weird thing is that BMO is stated as having no gender. In BMO's cameo in the gender flipped "Fionna And Cake" series, BMO looks the same! We clearly see in this world BMO having a large male body. I guess this is just what BMO desires? BMO wants to have a man's body?
Yeah, I'm working really hard to not say "he" or "she" in this review. We get some super crazy designs of all the characters in the virtual world. I especially like how I'm reminded of "The Matrix" with this story of all these people being plugged into this imaginary world. I doubt there's any deeper message for this episode. What matters is that we get a unique story, even for the series of how BMO meets up with the other characters. BMO is such a fun character and I like episodes focusing on BMO. ***1/2
