Charles Napier, Erica Gavin and Harrison Page share some memories they have of Russ Meyer on the making of BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. This nine-minute featurette also has production assistant Jim Ryan discussing what ti was like working with Meyer. Fans of Russ Meyer will enjoy this short piece that has a lot of fun stories told about the director including one dealing with Roger Ebert landing to meet Meyer for the screenplay but the writer didn't bring a typewriter along. There's some other great stories about Russ directing certain scenes from the movie as well as dealing with the big shots at Fox. Fans of the film or those fans of Meyer will enjoy this tribute. It would have been nice had it lasted even longer but what's here is quite fun to watch.
