Filmmaker and film historian S. Torriano Berry discusses his connection to the films of James and Eloyce Gist in this five-minute featurette. Berry talks about how he was asked to do some research on the filmmakers and this led to HELL-BOUND TRAIN and VERDICT: NOT GUILTY. He discusses these two films and what is known about them but then he talks about a third film (HEAVEN-BOUND TRAVELERS) that no one knew about until around 2015. Berry does a terrific job at telling us the story of these filmmakers as well as the three films that they made. There's a great story about HELL-BOUND TRAIN and how it was shown in churches with Eloyce playing the piano to go along with the film. Berry also discusses the trouble it took to edit the film back together since there was so much familiar footage with different closing shots. This is certainly a great look at these filmmakers and their films.
