Sarno on Vampire Ecstasy
Joe Sarno: A Touch of Horror (2005)
*** (out of 4)
This featurette clocks in just under seven-minutes and has director Joseph W. Sarno discussing his 1973 film VAMPIRE ECSTASY, which is also known as VEIL OF BLOOD and several other titles. Sarno talks about his impressions of the film, which is one he likes as he says he got some great performances and also talks about the lighting. He also starts off talking how the producer wanted more "horror" than he actually ended up getting. Sarno directed over one hundred films and never really got his due until much later in life so thankfully some people captured interviews like this one. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but fans of the director will enjoy hearing his thoughts on this film.
