Character swap and odd motivations and Inzombie, oh why?
imakk20013 November 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Black Bolt: has secret plan and hideout. Never thought he'd be that smart.

Medusa: pulled a we-Iris. Just because she married the king doesn't mean she's co-ruler. And the only thing that makes sense re her stance on Maximus is because she's also a human like him.

Triton: glad he's alive and was pretty kick-ass, but Gorgon died for nothing.

Crystal: she/her storyline are extremely dangerous to the eyes, because mine almost rolled out of the sockets when she enacted her Shakespearean tragedy over surfer dude. She is enough to make Inhumans deserving of cancellation.

Auran: she flipped pretty quick. Too quick. Or are we supposed to believe that her supposed disappointment with Maximus was enough to break her away from him?

Karnak/Gorgon: I guess sex and marijuana fixed Karnak's brain damage. I was wondering why they're dragging Gorgon around like that. On one hand, the show actually did a semi-OK job of showing how Karnak got to the point that he would do that to Gorgon. On the other hand, if that's actually how they end Gorgon's storyline, then Disney/Marvel an eff themselves.

Medusa's and Auran's OOC motivations, swapping out Gorgon for Triton, woe-is-me Crystal and Gorgon's change made this ep the most unpleasant to watch.

Pointless Conflict & Mindless Angst
Johnny_West3 July 2021
So after Maximus tried to have the entire Inhumans family killed off, and may have succeeded in erasing a couple of main characters, Black Dolt may finally have a plan to return to Attillan and regain his throne.

So Medusa (Serinda Swan) flips her character and now is fighting for the rights of Maximus (Iwan Rheon), because if the Inhumans get revenge on them, then they are nothing more than... INHUMANS!

This episode sucked so much on every level of human interaction that it was painful to watch. All the discussions the characters had about Justice and Vengeance have been done a million times before, in a million better stories than this one. This TV series would have been much better if they had spent less time talking about it, and just gone back to Attillan and let everything play out without ten discussions about what might happen.

All the discussions and arguments killed any tension, suspense, or interest in the last episode. The characters talked it to death, and made it incredibly ponderous and boring.

Finally a real episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Prior to this episode it all felt like introduction and slow moving snooze inducing story. Not awful, as I made it through all 6 episodes, but not very good. Finally, the 2nd to last episode had good pace and some teeth and tension. It's a shame that it took 6 episodes to get interesting and just last week I said this show seemed like it was written by 8 year olds, but this episode was a big step forward. Tension, building conflict, some heart felt scenes by Medusa and even the silly Crystal.

The return of Triton was unexpected and a nice surprise too and Maximus is consistently sneaky.

I found the Karnak scenes a bit forced and the resurrection of Gorgon much too predictable, but still, the episode held together.

8.5 out of 10.

Caos na Região Oculta

Inumanos (2017)

Series

1st Season

Episode Seven - Caos na Região Oculta

Karnak kicked a laser beam, was that right?

Is it a new power or did he already have it?

While the Inhumans are losing powers, he is gaining new ones.

Nothing would save this series, it was born to be a failure, even those who skipped the first two episodes, writing that those who didn't like it were because they were being manipulated by the negative reviews, surrendered and now write that it's a really bad series.

It's okay if you like something that most people don't like, for example, I like one of the most hated series in the MCU, She-Hulk, and that's okay, what can't happen is that people complain about the grades thinking that people just He doesn't like being manipulated.

Episode seven of the first season of the Inumanos Miniseries watched on May 4, 2024.

Rating: 1/10.
