A rather charmingly relaxed documentary about the science of owls serenely narrated by the wonderful Paul McGann.
A charming couple are the erstwhile owl shepherds, who keep birds and educate children on them - and set them up for various tests but there's little drama and the animations used to illustrate the technicalities of the birds also have a curious warmth to them. It's a little repetitious with the main points but on the whole it's eminently watchable and OWLS ARE OUTSTANDING.
