I mean, I mean...
vixter-6964614 August 2018
Love the show, love the family, but get a little nuts w/how many sentences Mom & Dad begin w/"I mean...". So much, that I count them. But love girls schedule, the respect & love the parents have, & the volunteer work Danielle is doing.

Great Dad, Control Freak Mom
deannr-898623 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The girls are adorable. Love Adam & Uncle Dale. Everyone needs an Uncle Dale. And Adam is so calm. He's an amazing dad - especially to six girls. His focus is always his wife and family. He goes out of his way regularly to make sure his wife feels special. And he appreciates what makes each daughter different and encourages them to grow.

(Though I do find it annoying everyone points out all the time that Riley is the "bad" kid. Y'all about to create a really bad kid through self fulfilling prophecy. She's a great kid who just needs more mental stimulation.)

On the other hand, Danielle is more irritating every season. She complains no one helps but every time anyone tries to help she complains they did the job and she's going to have to redo it to make sure it's right. When Adam tries to pack for a trip she condescendingly asks if he knows they need five of every outfit. Like he hasn't watched her dress their five daughters in identical outfits for six years or that he didn't know they had five of them. Then she sighs like he's made everything more difficult by trying to help. Her complaining becomes incessant. If you started a drinking game for every time she was passive aggressive "funny" in an interview, you'd be drunk after two episodes.

She causes her own stress by her perfectionism. Everything is about her all the time. She threw a fit when Adam found a job where he would have to be gone two days a month but would make enough money to support the family, her shopping addiction, get insurance and work from home. Does she not understand how rare a job that good is? Then she opens a business where she's going to be gone a week three times a year. But that's ok. However, she complains that Adam had fun with the kids while she was gone. She demands he help with the business, like she helped when he was overwhelmed at his job, the complains he has to bring the kids when she doesn't want him to get a babysitter. She complains she's at work too much when she decided to start a business. She complains she misses all the fun things. Like she doesn't want anyone to have fun while she's not around. She conveniently forgets the big fit she threw when Adam changed his job because he wanted to spend more time with the kids. She complains that he isn't being both a househusband and helping her to her job. He needs to do more, even though she's the one who keeps adding unnecessary events that consume a lot of time and energy. She likes to create situations where she can complain.

She spent six months completing she wanted to be back in the "old" house but then flipped on a dime and decided she wanted to stay in the new one and got irritated Adam wasn't immediately on board because he was thinking of the finances. She dithers and gripes about decisions Adam wants to make and never lets it go if he chooses something before she's finished agonizing, but if she makes a decision, oh well. His problem if he doesn't like it.

She's so focused on being the cool, fun Mom. It's something she says at least twice every episode. And the handstand thing - maybe if you did them more than once a year on vacations you'd be able to do them instead of complaining your body is betraying you. Same goes for the seasonal episode where she complains about her birthday being overlooked and then there's a whole episode devoted to making sure her birthday is special.

Every time there's an interview you just know she's going to be whining about something petty in her amazing life. I think it all boils down to you see multiple scenes where Adam apologizes because he's been in the wrong or just ruffled her feathers. The one time she says in an interview she owes him an apology, she changes her mind because something he said evened it out in her mind.

Who knows - maybe she pissed of a producer and she's just been getting a bad edit every season, each year progressively worse. Or maybe they're running out of scenes where she isn't complaining about nothing.

Not the first set of all girl quintuplets.
jgknight-189432 April 2019
Cute show. However, the Dionne quintuplets from Canada were the first set of quintuplets that survived and they were identical girls. So, advertising that this is the first set of all girl quintuplets is incorrect.

Love the girls
mellyfontana27 December 2019
Love this show the family is so relatable and the girl's are all so beautiful and well behaved. I have watched the show from the start and it has been great seeing all the little personalities form as they grow. They are a credit to their parents. I can not imagine how hard it would be to raise that many little ones. The only thing is Danielle drives me crazy with her constant whining and poor Adam having to be kept under the thumb and in trouble ALL the time. The poor guy can't win he even gets into trouble for trying to work and support the family. Danielle gets her way nearly every time she comes across as an angry princess that can do no wrong.

As an adult straight male, I've never thought I'd enjoy a show like this one. I think it's funny and really interesting. Plus it calms me down in a way. Their vlog on YouTube is even better.

the Busbys
Kirpianuscus30 September 2018
A family. And their daughters. Adventure, humor, dramas. And education as a long chain of experiences. Confessions about events and gestures and difficulties. And new challenges. The Busby family is special. Not only for the number of kids but for a honest definition of parenthood. For the real events and facts and incidents covered in the clothes of a sort of seductive entertainment. For each parent the situations are not surprising but more than familiar. And it is nice to discover the reactions of a young couple answers to chaos and the grow up of the girls. For see the motivations, tension and conflicts. And the real, real life. Out of perfect smiles and applauses. A good introduction in the universe of parenthood.

The girls are adorable.
rjgoldstein119 October 2019
The girls are adorable. Blake is a wonderful big sister. Uncle Dale is great. Danielle however is very spoiled, she wants her way all the time. I have seen all the shows and have never seen her put Adams needs or feelings before her own. She also says "like" at least 4 or 5 times in every sentence. Adam needs to stand up to her more and not be guilted into everything Danielle wants.

Good clean fun
ldpj-071355 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Really love this fun show I can watch it with my 13 year old daughter with a milder case of cerebral palsy. She gets such a kick out of the different personalities. Her daddy is an identical twin so she can relate. I wanted to comment on what I watched about Parker not doing as well on the tests. My daughter was the same. She would just completely shut down. Now she's not so shy and has grown out of it. She loves to learn new things now but when she was younger she'd just cry or be very quiet. She'll also come out of it ok.

CANNOT STAND THIS SHOW
gwenrocks798 May 2021
The couple are very weird and clearly another couple trying to profit off of their multitude of children. I cannot stand the husband and he always looks miserable. The wife is overdramatic about everything, not sure if it so they seem interesting or just a bad personality trait. Kids aren't amusing at all. I feel like the world is over shows like this one.

Dramatic
schererterri5 April 2021
Hello, I have watched your show since you had the girls. I enjoy your show but I believe Danielle and Adam are way over dramatic about everything. You seem like nice people but everything that goes on in your life you make it out to be bigger than it is.

Another disaster
davidww8010 November 2019
I see nothing but divorce coming for this couple. He tolerates his life and family at best. She is such a control freak she is pushing him away. They are exactly like Jon and Kate we're back in their hay day. I saw it for Jon and Kate and I see it here!

Nah
bell_movieaddict31 May 2022
I do like the show. The girls are adorable and I enjoyed watching them growing. But I can't stand Danielle. One of the most anoying, whining, stubborn people I've seen on TV. Always complaining about not having time for herself, but she's always goofing around with her sisters while she's complaining.

Uncle Duffus (Dale), Blayke and the kids save the show.

Great dad, adorable girls
tahiyahamzah20 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm only speaking facts here and most people saw it too.... Adam is really an amazing dad, and I think he would've been much much better if he married someone different from Danielle. Someone more supportive, caring and loving to her family. She's such a whining snout, it's like everything is entirely about her when it's certainly not! Everything he's doing is for their family but selfish as she is doesn't appreciate the effort. She's literally exhausting the poor guy out, purposely. I don't think any sort of man out there can ever stand this woman's attitude even thrown to them for free like Adam does. He kills it and deserves the world. To the best dad's like Adam, you're real heroes. And Kings.

Overrated & Overstated..!!!
carmenjulianna2 July 2021
Please can these rediculous reality programme cease to exist! Why would the producers continue to broadcast series after series of such a boring family... Aren't this family just profiting off this show for doing what all families do. I mean even during the lockdown no real focus was put on engaging with the daughter Hazels disability. Why does Danielle seem surprised by the teachers' comments regarding Hazels lack of focus and her inability to see from afar. I never ever see Danielle show Hazel any special consideration or love... Each episode I have seen, it always seems like othèr family members show Hazel love and attention, along with Adam; but never Danielle. Any contact with Hazel from Danielle seems fake and forced, as though she can't love her like the other remaking quints (especially Riley..favouritism) Their family fortunes have obviously increased massively with regards to thè home and trips they all seem to have; where dies all the money come from? In the first series they barely had anything. The family are boring, and most of the girls are way behind in speech and intellect. Can Danielle ever stop whining and just get on with it like everyone else! Come on, there are families with way more kids and much more interesting. Cut this rediculous reality drama once & for all...👎🏻 Love the uncle though..👍🏽
