The small town of Simpleton has to decide if two aliens will be allowed to stay. While the short does have some good moments, the humor (especially when it comes to the celebrity and conservatives) tends to land flat.
However, enough of the jokes land so as to make it worth the experience, and the inversion of the couple's relationship will attract notice from feminists. While the acting is somewhat uneven, there is enough good acting that it doesn't really grate.
