Ah, the memories. I remember watching this every weekend. Magnificent series, and superb cast.

Better than Mr. Peanutbutter's House
ectreece9 February 2020
A lot of people prefer Mr. Peanutbutter's house, but I have to stick to the og for me. Mr. Peanutbutter's house was solid for a rip-off, but Horsin' Around was consistently funny for what it was, and took risks like the horse becoming president and has kind of a downer ending. All around tho, Horsin' Around was just your average 90's sitcom. I'm really glad BoJack Horseman is getting some real work for a change. If you wanna watch something really good watch Secretariat, I think he was nominated for an Oscar in that one. Also, his new show Philbert is dank, and should definitely be checked out.
Tbh tho, I really liked BoJack as the judge on Felicity Huffman's Booty Academy.
Pretty Decent 90s Sitcom

Horsin' Around isn't the BEST sitcom, but its pretty good. The creator of the show Herb Kazzaz got fired in the middle, so they is a noticeable change in quality. But some people prefer the later years. Some of my favorite episodes are: Goober Goes Home (the softball one) The first Christmas special and the Finale because of the unexpected downer ending. Overall its pretty decent. People compare Mr. Peanutbutter's house to this show a lot, and I do have to say Mr. Peanutbutter is much more energetic and fun than The Horse but I like them both the same. If you liked The Horse in this than you should watch the new Secretariat movie. Its kind of weird they didn't do a scene with his suicide and did a Christmas thing instead, but the "You are Secretariat" scene made up for it.
Nostalgic and hilarious

I absolutely adore this show and I used to watch this show when I was a kid. Great characters, great plots and very funny. When watching it now it might be a bit problematic and the ending is pretty dark too. Hope there will be a reboot soon! Just without the actor Bojack Horseman, heard some awful things about him.
Makes me wish the series existed

The opening title sequence to the fictional TV series 'Horsin' Around', Bojack Horseman's original claim to fame in the series 'Bojack Horseman'.
Yeah, the whole thing is less than a minute in duration, so hardly much to review but it does make me wish 'Horsin' Around' actually existed - I'd definitely watch it. It seems like your average 80s/90s family sitcom but that's its charm, especially if you grew up in the 80s. Quite nostalgic.

Perfect show for family time.

The show is absolutely great. I used to watch it all the time as a kid with my old man and siblings. My mum didn't have much liking for the show but that's a story too personal. Though some might say that the show wasn't as like before when Herb left and there is some truth to it but the charm of Bojack Horseman and the ever so great Sarah Lynn (R.I.P.) never faded away. It is a bummer that Ethan Around got canceled, I was looking forward to it.
Great Show

Warning: Spoilers
Bojack horseman is a cruel horse and a bad actor. Did you know he abuses and has power over women? I even heard he was the reason sarah lyn died. It was a great show (a lot of memories from the 90s) but I simply cannot support a show casting a man like that.
Mediocre little spoof

"Horsin' Around" is a little animated short film from 2014 that is of course closely connected to the show BoJack Horseman and I know that one has a big fan base. This is a fake intro getting in some of the elements from 1990s sitcoms like the sense of community most of all while getting in some of the usual BJH comedy I suppose like the pants getting wet in one particular area or the Hitler reference. Politically incorrect yes. Funny not really. It's okay at under a minute I guess, but it is nowhere near a level where I would want to start watching BoJack Horseman at some point soon, even if I guess people who love the show will like this one here too. Thjey are the ones who want to check it out the most probably. Everybody else who has no(t yet a) connection with the series can also skip this very short film. I personally give it a thumbs-down and don't recommend watching it. It was neither particularly smart or funny, just provoking and mostly on the cheap and uncreative side.
