Strike and Robin continue to search for the killer, the pair discover that there are several things that don't add up with Bombyx Mori, the hunt for the killer is on.
The Silkworm is a more complex story than The Cuckoo's calling, on first watch I didn't fully understand all of what was happening, however, on this second viewing, I concentrated, and feel thoroughly rewarded for doing so, it's another captivating watch.
Well paced, energetic, intriguing, and incredibly stylish, but unlike many shows, there is style and substance here, it looks amazing. The scene of the party looks fabulous, with Strike and Robin both looking tremendous.
The ending is a very dramatic one, one to definitely catch your attention.
Another insight into the personal and private life of the main man, we get to see his brother here for the first time.
Lia Williams and Monica Dolan both incredible again.
Loved it, 9/10.
