Randall's story was my favorite in the episode. We see how he is trying to cope with his father's death and doesn't want to think about it happening. And at work it is getting worse. I felt so mad for him. Hopefully Kate doesn't do anything stupid, toby is just too great to lose.

Jack and Rebecca are stunned when their two best friends announce that they are getting a divorce. Jace, who can be so reactionary at times, decides you don't break up a marriage because of growing apart. There has to be some cheating going on. Meanwhile, he gets really angry at Rebecca because she is the grown up here. At the weight loss facility, that jerk who has been coming on to Kate takes a bigger role. Randall is slowly disintegrating as he faces the realities of his father's impending death. When they go to a hospice counseler, he becomes furious because his father is not dead yet. It is really a harsh reality and he feels cheated.

I've enjoyed a lot of the episodes but this one just made me angry. Again. Kate now has yet another guy who doesn't respect her boundaries just pushing her around. It seems like the message of this storyline is that fat het women will only have manipulative, disrespectful men interested in them. When do we see her with someone who is actually respectful of her? Really infuriating.
To the point I couldn't think about anything else (except Toby encouraging Kevin to do the same thing snd of course it works because writers everywhere really think somehow women are desperate for men to violate their boundaries and not listen to them...)
