- Johnny presents bad product mergers. Martin Mull performs stand-up and is interviewed; James Woods discusses the makeup effects for Videodrome (1983); Peter Billingsley (Paternity (1981)).
- During the monologue, Johnny has an extensive discussion about the AWACS system after a joke about selling them to Saudi Arabia, and what the acronym stands for. The boom operator offers his opinion as to the meaning, noting that he flew a similar plane in the military; fascinated by this input, Johnny clambers up onto the boom platform to continue the conversation, then asks Ed to join them because of his background as a Marine pilot. For good measure, the group finally has pianist Ross Tompkins, another former pilot, join them. For the comedy segment, Johnny lists failed products from corporate mergers. Peter Billingsley is a 10-year-old host on "Real People". He started acting at age 3, and has done over 100 commercials and five movies, including "Paternity". He says he plans to stop acting at age 18; when Johnny asks what he will do after that, he says he will work as a lifeguard and in the ski patrol for two years, then become a medical doctor. Afterward, he will become a football player for as long as he can, and then take it easy for many years before owning a pizza parlor when he's in his 50s. He also tells how his bike - a prized Christmas present - was stolen from his garage due to the carelessness of a family member who shall go unnamed. Martin Mull does a comedy routine in which he muses on whether the majority of Americans are really moral, and asks the audience to choose plot elements for a TV series he is planning; they choose to cast him as the owner of an adult bookstore who meets a female mud wrestler in a Tijuana bar, and then is introduced to her mother who is just out of prison. During his interview, he says that he really does have a deal with NBC, with Steve Martin producing. He then tells how he injured his finger in a blender accident. James Woods talks about having body casts made for use in the film "Videodrome".—lenab9011
