As I am an avid home baker; I thought this show might be fun to watch. It's not. The focus is on the contestants' quirky personalities, not on the baking.
It would be nice if some of the instruction that the hosts give the contestants was shown. That way viewers could pick up baking tips.
It stands out for me, not in a good way, that the contestants are using volumetric measurements as opposed to weighing the ingredients. Professional bakers always weigh ingredients. In England, where one of the hosts hails from, recipes are always written using metric weights.
