Miserly husband lies hospitalized with brain tumor as wife, son enjoy lavish life. Unexpectedly recovers, dashing their hopes of inheritance. Dark comedic conflict ensues between tightfisted patriarch and free-spending kin.

A wife and son live it up while their miser-rat of a husband/father lies in a hospital bed--death by brain tumor imminent.
