When Toller puts the patch on the vest honoring the activists José Cláudio Ribeiro da Silva and his wife, it says "Maria do Espirito Santo y Jose Cláudio Ribeiro da Silva"; this is wrong, as the use of "y", meaning "and", is used in Spanish. Jose Claudio and Maria are both Brazillian, a Portuguese-speaking country. Therefore, the patch should actually use "e" instead of "y", since that's the proper way of saying "and" in Portuguese.
The books on the Reverend's desk are the wrong way round.
When Toller is writing in his journal, the previous pages, which he has presumably already filled with entries, are perfectly flat as in a brand new journal, and not puffed up as pages which have been filled would be. Also, the thickness of the "filled" pages varies, getting thinner at times as the movie progresses.
When Toller runs a search engine query for "Hanstown Kills", the tab's title bar shows "Handstown Kills."
In each of the cafe scenes at the mega-church, the coffee cups still have the manufacturer's stickers on the bottoms.
When the black minister goes to the parsonage to find Toller, he knocks on the door and tries to open it, but it is locked. So how did the young woman manage to get inside the parsonage if the door was locked?
The physician describes cancer treatment options referring to them as "diagnostic tools".
Toller references the Biblical Book of "Revelations." There is no book by this name in the Bible; it is "Revelation," with no "s" on the end. No clergyman would make this mistake.
In the voiceover, Toller tells how he went into the church one night and "fell asleep on a bench." No ordained minister would ever call a "pew" a "bench."
