- Mr. Kim fixes a toilet for Kimchee. Janet believes there is more to Edwin and Mrs. Kim's relationship.
- Kimchee's broken the toilet - again - and in order to fix it, he needs to borrow Mr. Kim's tools. He gets more than he bargained for when Mr. Kim insists on coming along to make sure the repair is done right. It's clear Mr. Kim hopes to get a glimpse into Jung's home life (and maybe even run into Jung himself), but Jung is at work and plans on staying there until his father's gone. Back at the store, Janet's surprised when Edwin, an old friend of Mrs. Kim's, drops by for a visit. Mrs. Kim insists they were nothing more than dance partners, but when an old secret is revealed, Janet begins to wonder if Edwin's visit is as innocent as he claims.
- It's Saturday morning. Just before Jung is scheduled to go to work, he learns that Kimchee broke the toilet. As the fix-it guy between the two but not having the time, Jung tells Kimchee to ask Janet to borrow Appa's tools so that Kimchee can fix the toilet himself. However, what happens is that Kimchee doesn't get Appa's tools but Appa himself, he who offers to fix the toilet. While Appa is at the apartment, Kimchee has to hide the fact that Jung is his roommate from Appa. In the process, Appa shows a little that he misses his son, while Kimchee shows a little that he misses his father. With Appa at the apartment, Jung has to hide out at work for the duration, Shannon the only other person working this day. With just the two of them at the office, they see a side of the other they wouldn't normally when there are other people around. Meanwhile, while Appa and Umma are at the wholesalers, an old friend of Umma's named Edwin stops by the store looking for her. Janet, based on Edwin's visit, eventually learns things about her mother that she never knew: that Umma was once a dance teacher; that she spent some time on a US Army base in Korea, Edwin, a colonel in the army, her dance partner; that Edwin, a Caucasian, once asked her to marry him; and that Appa, who knew Edwin at the end of his and Umma's relationship, hates Edwin if only because of who Edwin was in her life. When Umma learns of Edwin being in town, she wants to hide that fact from Appa for obvious reasons. The questions become if Edwin's visit is innocent or if there are feelings still existing on both his and Umma's sides? And regardless of Edwin's intentions, will the old animosity come to the surface if Appa finds out?—Huggo
