Okay monologue, nothing beyond that

Warning: Spoilers
"Walking After You" is a 3-minute monologue by Brazilian actor Gustavo Goulart, who is also writer and director here and you could basically say that this is a one-person project: one camera on the protagonist and he seems to be channeling his inner psycho killer for an audition here. I think Goubert really isn't too bad here. What he does with his eyes is maybe even better than what he does with his voice. Still eventually, it simply isn't enough plot-wise or execution wise and it may have been the same with famous Hollywood actors playing the part. It's a very simple film and idea and the man in the center of it all is not giving a performance complex enough to make us forget about some of the other forgettable, almost non-existent production values. That's why all in all I give this one a thumbs-down and don't recommend checking it out unless you have seen and really liked the actor in other stuff perhaps. Also it sounds way more interesting here on imdb than it actually turns out to be. The cast list gives away a bit what this really is.
