No pun intended - and I am not trying to make light of what she had to go through at all. The story or rather the main message the movie has is ... well I would call it good, but that may also be considered a pun (and maybe not even a good one).
There is a lot to be said on what the movie wants to achieve. It is exploitation/revenge - and if that floats your boat, you may be reminded of some movies of the past. It may even have the same flaws you saw with the movies of the 70s for example. Bad acting, some bad choices visually, set design, issues with the low budget, not looking good visually (no pun intended and I am talking about the cinematography or rather the way the movie itself looks). If you don't mind all the flaws, but love it for what it does and says ... well you could do worse.
