Lagna Pahave Karun attacks our orthodox ways of arranging marriages but it isn't preachy anywhere; and that makes the film more beautiful and mature. It's not only watchable but also lovable due to well- balanced and smart script by Sameer Vidwans and Kshitij Patwardhan, and equally impressive direction by Ajay Naik. A good film is always a result of good teamwork but the three things that make this film special are its heart-winning dialogues, Abhijeet Abde's beautiful camera-work with appropriate use of lights, and Ajay Naik's soulful music.
Umesh Kamat and Mukta Barve play the lead pair of Nishant and Aditi with great chemistry and comfort. Siddharth Chandekar and Tejashree Pradhan have also been cast suitably in the roles of Rahul and Anandi. With enough screen time for them all, these four young actors display their effective acting skills and admirable screen presence. Swati Chitnis and Jayant Savarkar are perfect as always
