At the close of events in the previous episode we learned right at the end that Quill's attachment to Charlie, had ended, that the creature, the Arn inside her had gone. The events here run consecutively with those events. Quill, Dorothea and Soldier Ballon are transported to a new world, the world where the idea of the Arn live. A bizarre series of journeys follow, collecting elements needed to operate on Quill. Quill and Ballon must face off, after Dorothea's true hand is shown.
A clever episode, one that shows a definite pedigree of writing, higher in quality then some that have gone before. I love how the episode links in to the previous one. Nice to have a story feature largely on Quill, I feel she's been somewhat overlooked for the most part of the series.
A definite attempt to create a Missy like character with Dorothea, Pooky acts, sounds and dare I say it resembles a tiny bit the wonderful Michelle Gomez.
I hate to describe the episode as mature as that sounds patronising, but it feels exactly that, intelligent, mature, quality drama 9/10
