Being far from the "Tucker Carlson Tonight's" insight notwithstanding
st_stoimenov4 January 2022
Mr. Watters is doing his very best to constantly add different forms of quality and value to the content he's producing. Arguing that Jesse Watters hadn't had significantly grown professionally since the show's early days would be a blatant lie. His monologues, for example, have gotten way more punishing and penetrating than the unnavigable mish-mash they used to be some time ago. The manner of selecting and interviewing the guests has had improved visibly, especially in terms of the interpersonal dynamic Jesse always manages to establish -- a true achievement considering this short format of only three/four minutes per guest.

But the MOST important -- and most recognizable due to the stark contrast with nearly every other anchor, and with CNN's especially -- characteristic of Jesse Watters is that he does not hide like an intellectual coward behind the very principles he otherwise claims he stands for.

Also, he seems to be very aware of the epistemic responsibility he shoulders. He accepts the burden of being accountable -- and amenable -- for each and every perspective, belief, and moral imperative he advocates for.

When hundreds of thousands, if not even millions, of one's compatriots trust one's evaluations and interpretations, it must be rather easy for a TV personality to forget the most basic journalistic truth that a commentator's popularity's invariably founded on the ephemeral notion of that commentator's usefulness as a tribune and a lightening rod.

Fair and balanced if...

Warning: Spoilers
Jesse Watters is making an earnest effort to be an A-grade star in our great country called the USA, and kudos to him for making an effort to tap into the feelings of Americans as we approach the epic 2016 presidential election.

Jesse has been criticized for his insensitive and racist humor, although he says on his Twitter feed that his "man-on-the-street interviews are meant to be taken as tongue-in-cheek" and they are "light pieces". Fair enough.

As Fox is fair and balanced, I know many viewers would like Mr Watters to make his way to the Ozarks and display his talents. I'm not sure how viewers and Ozark residents would react if Jesse asks them if they watch Beverly Hillbillies, they have their dentist on speed dial, or if they watch Frasier. But it's all a light piece and tongue-in-cheek, so that's fine.

Love watching show

I just started watching Fox News about 6 months ago and got hooked on Water's World. Has some humor but more importantly keeps me informed.

I have to question my IQ
castoirebenjamin4 May 2019
I normally don't do idiotic things, until I sat and watched this show in its entirety. After this show was over it instantly became the dumbest thing I ever done. Forcing me to question my intelligence but at least my integrity is intact, so I will never watch this guy again.

He is very intelligent, knows what he's talking about, and brings humor to all sorts of scenarios. Great interviewing skills and a fun guy to watch.

Watters World is better than the Water World movie!
mm-3927 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Watters World is better than the Water World movie! But that is not saying much because Water world was quite the bust! But I digress. Another attempt at what I call News entertainment. Another jab at politic aka Red Eye aka The Greg Gutfield Show. What works: Jessie Watters sarcasm, and tongue and cheek humor make news light to watch. Watter's is an antagonist but that is part of the lure for humor. Guests on Watters World spice the topics up just like Gutfild's show. Jessie has the interview on the street which is usually a winner. What does not work: Jessie has a style similar to Bill O'Reilly which is a winning combination aka Bill's success. Regrettably The Factor style can sometimes be over combative/antagonist. There is a time a place for the combative style. Sometime the people Jessie interview are just way too dumb. Otherwise a good show. 7 out of 19

Excellent REAL NEWS reporting! Jesse Waters keeps it real! It's his world, he owns the hour and he takes no prisoners and pulls no punches exposing the radical left. Keep up the good work Jesse! 👊🏾🇺🇸

Offensive Opinion
rmnadon29 November 2020
Tonight, Mr. Watters concluded his dialogue by saying, "We may as well be in Canada and who wants that?" As a very proud Canadian, I am incredibly offended. I feel blessed to NOT be an American living in the chaos of the Trump regime.
