Warning: Spoilers
YZ basically in Marathi YZ stands for initials of a abusive word. the movies YZ portrays YZ as an attitude towards life and how life should be lived with joy and without any fear. YZ is just a catchy name given to that ideal attitude towards life. The movie has given many different and funny names to different terms in life. for example as selfie is called as a Kulfi which means cool selfie. The manages to make you laugh. It starts with introduction of protagonist who is a teacher by profession 32 years old and a virgin. because of his fat looks and Age he has not been able to charm any girl to marry him.

One day he shift to Pune Maharashtra to live with his aunt so that he could get a bride. His life is more troubled by wayward students but he meets with on of his student who name is 32. And the story begins. 32 is a very important and funny character in the movie who is portrayed by a new actor Akshay Tanksale this boy has acted brilliantly and makes the audience laugh out loud. Sagar Deshmukh in the lead role is a perfect casting for the role and he manages to portray his character really well. Sai Tamhankar had a different role this time she acted superb. Mukta barve also plays little but beautiful role in the movie.

The Dialogues in the movie are written superbly. writing is a major plus point of this movie. Prerna pethe this young beautiful actress look gorgeous in the film.

the movie has many plots but you enjoy each and every scene. it may confuse you that what they are trying to show but you'll enjoy it and laugh.

Direction of the movie is up to the mark. its a beautiful movie. after watching this movie you will definitely have a different view at life and havoc attitude towards it.

you can enjoy this with your family and friends or alone

Breezy tale about finding one's inner child.

'YZ' is yet another delightful product to emerge from the booming new-wave Marathi film industry, which is daring to think differently.

At core, YZ is a tale about the 33 year old, virgin, history lecturer, ABaB/Gajanan (played brilliantly by Sagar Deshmukh). Sagar is the quintessential nerd who hasn't grown up to be a man. Having invested all his youth in acquiring other essential things in life like degree, knowledge from books, job, etc, Gajanan never allowed himself to blossom into an adult, leaving him timid. He is scared of women, people and confrontations. He is terrified of expressing himself. Until he finds Batees (again wonderfully played by Akshay Tanksale), the complete opposite of him.

When Batees vows to make him more confident, we are left with a surprise. What Gajanan ends up learning in the end of the movie is a delightful little message for the audience.

The movie is from the stable of Sameer Vidwans and Kshitij Patwardhan, who gave us the equally wonderful Double Seat. The dialogues are one of the strongest attributes of this movie. Sai Tamhankar in a different kind of role is wonderful to see. Once again, Mukta Barve, who has a small part, steals the show. She is by far one of the best actresses in the country.

Go find your inner child with YZ. It's truly a beautiful movie.

Complete movie, wonderful performances.

YZ offers a complete movie experience and you enjoy every minute. Gajanan Kulkarni ,a professor, moves to Pune and then he starts revealing his own personality and finds a fresh perspective towards life. In this journey Battis, a college student, plays important role to give Gajanan a refreshing start on various fronts of life. Battis offers a light but solid philosophy in youngster fashion and this keeps the movie relavent to all age groups. Writing and direction has maintained a perfect balance between message and method. Akshay Tanksale has delivered a star performance, you love the character without a choice by the end of movie. He has handled difficult scenes wonderfully like when they part away in end. Other cast has also performed at par. Music is appropriate and just enough. Story is the best part but everything else in this movie is also just perfect, it keeps moving and you feel engaged all the time. Characters feel real , college portion is fun. Excited to see more stuff like this.
