Slip-Sliding Away
A group of men trudge up a gentle slope in Indian file, pausing occasionally to stumble on the slippery ice in this Lumiere actuality.
I sometimes wonder when people first got the idea of basically strapping tennis rackets to their feet and using them to walk across the snow. Of course, I also sometimes wonder when walking one after another, which is also called "single file" came to also be called "Indian file." Is it still permissible, or is it considered racist these days. Back in 1900, it apparently was not, but then the low-lifes of Montmartre liked to called themselves "Apaches."
It all looks very realistic, thanks to the stumble.
