Howard may have lied to Garnett, hoping that others would try to outbid him at the auction and drive the price up; alternately, the auction house manager may have offered to withdraw the opal to placate Howard.

In the background at 1:43:23 you can hear a crew member feeding a line to Adam Sandler. As he was trying to have back the Celtics Ring from Steve you can hear someone saying "Swap them out" which Adam instantly Sandler repeats.

The movie takes place in 2012, but the helicopter that Julia takes to make the bet at Mohegan Sun is a BLADE helicopter; the company wasn't founded until 2014.

At 01:48:22, a boom mic handler appears visible in the rightmost mirror.

When Howard is explaining that he left the ring at home, he says, "I left it in Long Island." Anyone from Long Island or NYC would never say in Long Island. They say either on Long Island or on the island.

Howard asks his wife to change the channel to ESPN so he can watch the game. When the game is shown, the station logo is for TNT.

In the operating room, the doctor dictating the colonoscopy procedure speaks about "the right side of the colic" when it is "the right colon" or better "the ascending colon".

When Howard sends Julia to the Mohegan Sun, he tells her the helicopter is going to land on top of the casino. It clearly lands on a helicopter pad on the ground floor outside the casino.
