A Sequel With Similar Plot Lines

The best part of this movie is location and music. Anubhav Sinha wanted to recreate the magic of his 2001 surprise hit but failed. Story is very much familiar. Acting of the lead characters are not convincing.

Main drawback of Tum Bin 2 is bad characterization of the leads and plot. Their was a boldness in Pia (Sandali Sinha) and maturity in Shekhar (Priyanshu), which is missing in Tum Bin 2 and I personally missed Mili's (Amrita) character.

Neha Sharma looks beautiful, as always. Ashim & Aditya needs to learn a lot. Sandali Sinha appearance was surprising. There is additional treat of Jagjit Singh's voice that joins Rekha Bhardwaj.

VERDICT: No can create the magic of Tum Bin(2001) again, not even Anubhav Sinha.

Forceful emotion and pathetic performance from lead star cast

Anubhav Sinha highly disappointed with sequel of romantic musical saga. Huge flaw in script and dull performance of lead star cast. Neha Sharma looked so puzzled. Aashim Gulati has plain expression on his face through out. Aditya Seal was only actor who did good job. Kanwaljit Singh was good in supporting role. Music failed to touched the benchmark created by previous one. There is no replacement for Jagjit Singh's Koi Fariyaad. Although Rekha Bhardwaj tried a lot to reprise the old melody. Ewan Mulligan's cinematography was only treat to watch. Mouni Roy's Item number went totally unnoticed. Sandali Sinha's guest appearance was surprise for audience.

Confused story

i really liked tum bin first one because of wonderful story & music but this one really disappointed me except for music & locations..... this movie lacks basic ingredients of love story..... all the emotions were confused..... girl waited for Amar and loved him beyond expectations and as he comes all is gone... i couldn't understand that type of logic.... this story looks inspired from Hollywood and director tried to put Hollywood in Bollywood drama Music was extraordinary... totally loved that. Cast was beautiful included both boys & girl. from my side this movie could be improved much just by avoiding the confusion & working more on story.

This movie actually isn't bad at all

One thing. What's the problem with the critics. This movie made me feel in love with the characters and the music and the story it self. The pain they showed and the songs were just incredible. I loved how the cake jagjit singh alive even today. Aashim Gulati was a mixture of siddarth and karthuk aaryan but he did a good job but Aditya seal carried the movie on his shoulders and proved that he has a place in bollywood. He is one of the new talented actors I can say has a future in this industry. Neha Sharma was alright and looked pretty and all and the supporting cast did a fabulous job. I just didn't feel satisfied with the end. They could've showed more to make a happier ending. Over all the music and the movies concept makes the movie beautiful

Another Bollywood Drag Drama

The first 50 minutes? Well, Bollywood must learn to do away with the melodramatic crap. Dragging the unwanted and monotonous scenes with sad background music and absurd dialogue for too long too often makes one question the level of Directors. This movie could be far better made.

Failed to create the magic of Tum Bin

The best part of the movie is location, Kanwaljit Singh and Aditya Seal. The locations are wonderful.

Kanwaljit Singh (papaji) does brilliant job. Neha Sharma looks good, but awful acting. Aashim Gulati (Amar) should not have been taken for this movie. Aditya seal needs to learn acting, but he looks really good and steals the screen whenever he is there. The characters in Tum Bin(2012) were unique, be it Sandali Sinha (Pia), Navneet Nishan (pupu), Amrita (milli), Priyanshu (Shekhar Malhotra). Here all the characters are too weak to like or appreciate them. The main drawback is the mishap ending, and the plot of the movie. songs are good, jagjit singh's voice is magical. Not sure if one can watch this movie till the end, its a very slow movie.

Such waste of time. worst acting and worst script and storyline.

People who have already watched tum bin 1 will hate this movie most. worst acting by all actors, including neha Sharma. There were no emotions acting , There was no proper script . This movie should have been emotional . You can judge within 10 minutes of movie that it will be a total waste of money. Moreover really boring story. The scene which should be long and should have shown a little past of it were short and there was nothing shown in it. Even the dialogues are so bad . May be it was only me but i was expecting a lot after first movie. Meaning movie is se ziada bakwas nai ho skti thi. Neha Sharma acting was totally non emotional where it should have been very emotional.

It's just to ruin the prequel masterpiece

I already have given review to its prequel I.e Tum bin. As I given 10 out of 10 for Tum bin. For Its sequel I wanted to give 0 stars. But 1 star for the lovely song used from its prequel I.e Koi fariyaad sung by Jagjit sir. I don't recommend this to watch, instead you can watch 100 times to its prequel.

Underrated

This is such a beautiful movie, stop comparing it with tum bin that is classic any who. I wasn't expecting such low IMDb ratings it's just coz the comparison.. but if you ask me I absolutely love this movie and can Watch it more.. director didn't failed to make us feel the characters, the locations, omg songs, and dialogues are absolutely exquisite..

This movie is worst film of the year. A lot of worst things in the movie. Storyline ,screenplay , actors and actresses are worst . The female lead is so much ugly and has bad shaped lips and teeth . Her acting is awful. There is no story in the movie .if u get trapped due to its name tum bin just like i did then may god bless u . I notched my hair up after watching this fkin boring movie. Tum bin 1 was a great movie . U can watch tum bin 1 again instead of watching this movie

Of course everyone comparing this film with the 2001 tum bin and of course it can not match it anyway. But that does not take away things which are really really good with current film. The dialogues are too too good. Music does justice. Cinematography is really really awesome. Screenplay was at its best in many scenes. Acting was a little miss and go but I did not care of it as the mood was already set by the good things already. The story was too mature. I saw it twice and will watch it again many a times because it has the right balance of innocence and maturity. Congratulations Anubhav. You have made me fall in love again with your craft. And Priyanshu, you were missed a lot. You were the X factor in the 2001 version.

If you like love stories, you will love this movie!! Don't let the bad ratings tell you otherwise, in my opinion it was a great movie!!

A GREAT MOVIE, BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE DEPTH

I see sooo many people complain how it was not as par to the first movie and honestly we could do without the comparison.

It carried the sad-tragedy romantic aesthetic well, the location of Scotland portrays the desolate setting of the movie and the constant ups and downs in Taran's, life after loss are pretty realistic.

Ishq mubarak was a treat to the eyes and it's a shame this movie flopped on the box office, but to the naked eye, it might seem stupid and cringe but if you really see deep in the script and character development, it did do justice to the story as well as the characters.

The ending also proves the point, that it couldv'e easily ended well and satisfied the audience, but Sinha, to prove that it's more about the story than about the ending, ended it in a tragedy.

BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE THEME OF THE MOVIES IS : TRAGEDY!
