Episode 10 remained , complex and compelling This is not a genre I have ever watched. So part way though the season I started to wonder if it was a sex show ( which I now know exists) the series is darn compelling to watch , yet , frustrating as I struggled to determine her motives and what payoff I could hope to imagine . Is she sinister , disturbed , desperate ; , some rich entitled outlier who needs to keep stirring the pot or a selfish sociopath. Because, she is a therapist , it gets interesting as her own mental health becomes inextricably woven into her perceived good intentions and downright bizarre agenda with her clients . She is not just a bad therapist , this is worse . This episode being the last, cried out for closure or continuation and delivered both . No sooner did she extract her self from the web she wove did she rehash a former ( yet again highly inappropriate) relationship with a former client We can hope her husband has had enough and the scene in the kitchen with her child demonstrated her loss of credibility or intimacy, with her child, proving further that her family doesn't need her , even if they still want her . After 9 1/3 episodes , the end was so quick that I had to rewatch the end to clarify. It's notable how I continued to watch despite how unlikable she is as I was invested in the people she affected. Her husband was a great character in how he handled most everything.
