This is a must see short film, everything about it is absolutely stunning.
The storytelling is very well constructed and paced. I really appreciate the way it builds "mistery" and gives you an satisfying end without really explaining anything.
Acting is very truthful and James Sobol Kelly performance is great. Casting overall is right on spot.
Photography is superb: all the portraits and the close up of people eating create a tension and keep your interest high. The location is really well chosen and it really looks like a cliché American diner.
Editing, color grading, music and sound are superb and give to the film a superb look and feeling.
But the thing I loved the most about this is the originality of the idea: a completely out of the box approach to make you think about a timely and relevant subject.
Congrats.
