Painfully Bad -- NBC needs to Pull the Plug
Man992048 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Let me preface this review by saying that I used to be a major fan of this Series, and I have watched every single previous episode over the past five previous seasons.

This episode was so painfully bad I almost just stopped watching it about fifteen minutes into the episode. the I wonder how anything this awful could be shown on a major network .

This is a ONE hour program. Common sense dictates that there be a limited number of plots and sub plots as well as a limited number of of central cast members to focus on. The Grimm writers ignore this andshove in far too many plots and sub plots and characters. What they end up with is a muddled mess. Scenes that flash on to the screen and then flash off. Nothing is developed nothing is nuanced.

This program has never been about special effects. The reason this program succeeded was because regular viewers liked the central characters. The writers just do not "get this". In this episode many of the central characters are repugnant - deeply flawed.. kicked over to the "dark side'.. or far worse.. just insipid and incredibly boring.

There is no "heart' left in this series. No emotional core. The cast realized how bad the series now is - their performances last night made itseem like the only reason they were participating was because familymembers were being held hostage by the Production Staff.

There is no life left in this series, and apparently no active brain waves. NBC should do the humane thing and just ... pull the plug.
