Maybe I am the last human on earth to love this TV show, but, yes, I do. Totally desperate story for which I highly hope there will be a second season. But nothing is sure. Canal Plus, the channel which produced it, is not sure either. The audiences did not show so much enthusiasm about season one. I agree that you have here tons of clichés: SOYLENT GREEN, BLADE RUNNER, METROPOLIS, TOTAL RECALL... And I also agree that Olivier Marchal may confound references and clichés...But I don't argue about this. In this kind of post apocalyptic story, you CANNOT avoid clichés.

And I also agree that some folks may be annoyed by the humorless dialogues. Very sharp and offensive, the very same ones you have in BRAQUO series...It is a so dark, hopeless story, and that's what I love the most. If the series ends with this season, that will be the most surprising end of the whole series history. Unexpected ending, I assure you. Gerald Laroche, Marc Barbé, Tcheky Karyo, Ola Rapace, Catherine Marchal, Pascal Gregory, every actor is right in the cast.
