The last gold of the year.

Another good episode of "Gold Rush". This time a two-hour season ender. The big competition between Todd and Parker comes to a conclusion. We get to find out who won the bet between the two. Needless to say, there's a big push on by all three teams. Parker and Todd obviously each wants to beat the other to win their bet. And it doesn't seem to be about the money. It's for bragging rights. Todd definitely doesn't want to lose to "the kid". This two-hour episode delivers all the problems, arguments, and gold we've become accustomed too. But what continues to be a head-scratcher is how these teams seem incapable of anticipating problems. On Todd's rig, they continue to have problems with sand building up around their conveyor. How is it that they can't just clean the sand out on a regular basis and avoid the problem? Instead, they let it breakdown, just crazy. They never seem to learn from their mistakes. On parkers rig, they have more breakdowns because they do no maintenance at all. And on Tony Beets dredge they have leaks develop because they didn't drain down the rig when they walked away the night before. How can men that claim to know what they're doing no see that when it's 18 degrees. They have to drain down the rig at night. But, even with all these mistakes. It's still fun to watch these guys do their thing. I mean how often do you get to see hundreds of thousands of dollars in gold. We can only hope they're working on the next season of Gold Rush.
