Lusagne in the late afternoon: the children of the summer camp are returning from a long day of mountain walking, but Justine, 10 years old has disappeared. Her instructor, Marianne Helme, who is looking for her, has not returned either, and night falls. Alex and Angelo immediately mobilise volunteers and discover with terror the body of Marianne stranded in a torrent but no trace of Justine. Very quickly, the suspicions are on Jérémy Raveau, a strange person that subsists thanks to odd jobs. Raveau is escorted to the rural police station where the locals are demanding justice. Lt.
